Conferences are very important component that Pivot-ED uses to create a community.  These conferences are specifically designed to allow students to learn and dialogue about topics specific to Student Athletes.  One example of these conferences is the Los Angeles Student Athlete Symposium (LASA).  Students from all over the country gather to hear information provided for student athletes by professionals that have a unique perspectives on what it means to be a student athlete.
